The Butterfly Maiden

… but I AM FREE!

I love to travel! I love meeting people of different cultures and backgrounds, breathing in beautiful landscapes and dancing away at different festivals. There’s something quite awe-inspiring and eye-opening about traveling. Experiencing all the world can offer, often challenging your core beliefs and fears,  pushing your boundaries further.

In all my experiences, despite some being unpleasant and rather depressing, revealed a dimension of my unexplored self and dissolved certain instilled fears and beliefs. There is so much more to yourself than you realize. Being in and experiencing foreign places and cultures tend to do just that; bring out a part of you, you didn’t know existed!

You also realize, there is so much more that life can offer.  Just ask and let life take its course. Half the time, the unplanned events were the ones most memorable. Had I let my fears and beliefs block me, I would have missed these experiences, both celebrations and adversities.

Also, I’ve realized, despite visiting many places, I’ve not been able to post my travel stories! That will change, of course! And as I recall and post, I’ll list them here for your convenience.
